CQC Quality Rating ‘Three Star Excellent Service’
Regulation and Inspection
Dunsland House is registered and inspected by the
Care Quality Commission and operates under their guidelines.
Following an inspection on 9th April 2010 our CQC Quality rating is now ‘Three star excellent Service’
Inspector's Reports are available from the CQC website or on application. In addition, there are frequent visits by the Environmental Health Organisation, Fire Officer and other associated regulators.
Dunsland House is a large Victorian family house now modified
to
suit the current needs of a modern Care Home.
It is situated centrally and within walking distance of the historic
town of Berkhamsted. Set on the edge of the Chiltern Hills and
close to Ashridge Forest, Berkhamsted hosts beautiful
countryside owned and managed by the National Trust.
The accommodation consists of spacious rooms particularly
in the older part of the house and all have en-suite facilities.
Five rooms have private bathrooms.
